Idaho’s Democratic Presidential Caucuses will be held in counties around the state on Saturday, April 14th. The Bonner County Democratic Caucus will take place at the Sandpoint Community Hall at 204 S First Avenue in Sandpoint. Doors open at 9:30 am and close promptly at 10 am for caucus start. We will elect 12 delegates (plus alternates) for the Idaho Democratic Convention to be held in Boise on June 8-10, 2012.

What you can expect at the caucus: fill out and sign pledge forms, County Chair’s caucus overview, calling the roll of pledges, vote for delegates, vote count and announcement of delegate names, County Chair’s closing. We will be done no later than noon.

UPDATED 6/15 at 7:56 pm – The census numbers are in, the Redistricting Commission has gone to work, public hearings are set. There is a meeting scheduled in Sandpoint for June 22nd from 2 to 4 pm – Sandpoint High School Auditorium (410 S Division). Later that day, the meeting is in Coeur d’Alene from 7 to 9 pm – North Idaho College, Meyers Health and Sciences Building, Room 106.
